Week 2: My Entrepreneurship Story

Personally, I have had experience with being an entrepreneur. In high school, I was very passionate about the effects of students making destructive decisions. I made it my personal goal in making a change. To do this, I decided to make a club in order to raise awareness. In order to start a club, I had to go through many processes and had to appeal to the administration. After pleading my case to the administration, I had to find a sponsor. After completing the process, I was president of the SADD club, also known as Students Against Destructive Decisions. By pursuing my goals, I was able to create change and raise awareness throughout the entire school.

I enrolled in the ENT3003 course because I want to expand my entrepreneurial mindset. I want to take what I learn in this class and directly apply it to my life.

Congratulations on SADD! I hope that you continue to positively affect the people around you! A friend of mine is more involved in things like you. She’s training at the Crisis Center to be able to help people in various dilemmas. In high school, I was also involved in a walk against suicide and helped some of my friends to decide against suicide.

Good luck in pursuing your growth in entrepreneurship!
